Fort Halifax MusicFest to highlight 40th anniversary of Rich Clare Pentagon Band

Celebrate 40 years of top-notch entertainment as Rich Clare Pentagon Band rocks the Susquehanna River during the Fort Halifax MusicFest, presented by Dauphin County commissioners and Halifax Twp. supervisors.
The band, formed in 1971, will perform an eclectic mix of music filled with classic R&B and rock n roll tunes at the anniversary concert. The midstate group has performed throughout the country, including Atlantic City, Las Vegas, L.A. and Puerto Rico.
Local favorites Shea Quinn & the Luv Gods will take the stage prior to the headlining act, performing classic Top 40, pop and rock songs. In addition, radios WQLV-FMs Battle of the Bands Champion will be presented during the start of the festival.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers. Advance tickets are available at the Dauphin County Parks and Recreation Office at Fort Hunter Park, Halifax Municipal Building and the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts.
