Giorgio Armani Dressed Golden Globes Participants

Several nominees, presenters and guests of the Hollywood Foreign Press Associations 69th Annual Golden  Globe Awards were dressed by Giorgio Armani. The show took place at the  Beverly Hilton Hotel and was broadcasted live on Sunday evening, January 15, 2012, on NBC at 5pm PST.

Best actress nominee Glenn Close wore a custom designed navy blue velvet Giorgio Armani Privé evening gown. The strapless dress features a crystal-embedded bust detail and falls into front and back velvet  panels. (NewsCore) – Jay Cutler thanked fans for their support Monday after announcing that he and fiancee Kristin Cavallari are expecting their first child together.

The Chicago Bears quarterback also set the record straight about his relationship with the former star of “The Hills,” correcting tabloid reports that the pair temporarily broke up last summer when they called off their engagement.

Country singer Eric Church proudly rocks out on tour

Church’s party anthem Drink In My Hand topped USA TODAY’s country airplay chart this week, the first of the North Carolina native’s 10 singles to do so.

“Normally, you have No. 1 singles before you have No. 1 albums and arena tours,” says Church, 34, whose third album, Chief, made its debut atop the Billboard album chart in July. “For us, it was the other way.”

With an attitude that draws from outlaw country and a sound that sometimes borrows from classic hard rock, Church has cultivated a devoted fan base from the country audience without trying to please everybody.
